Sweetie Pie's James "Tim" Norman & Exotic Dancer Terica Ellis, Charged in Murder-For-Hire Conspiracy

Updated: Aug 6, 2021

“Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” tv show star and restaurant owner Miss Robbie, is said to have always thought that something was suspicious about the death of her grandson Andre Montgomery. And just today Miss Robbie’s son and owner of Sweetie Pies’ and star of the tv show, James Timothy Norman has been charged and arrested for plotting a murder-for-hire. Allegedly James Timothy Norman known as Tim on the tv show and a woman by the name of Terica Ellis were in cahoots together in planning the murder of Montgomery.

A few days before Montgomery’s death Norman, residing in Los Angeles, California and Ellis, residing in Memphis, Tennessee made plans to meet in St. Louis, Missouri. Documents state that Ellis, an exotic dancer, and Norman were in communication with each other with temporary phones on the day that Montgomery was murdered. Allegedly Ellis who had previous informed Montgomery of her trip, used a temporary phone to find out the whereabouts of Montgomery. After she found out his location, she made a call to Norman. And during the evening of March 14, 2016, at approximately 8:00 p.m. there was a shooting which ended in the death of Montgomery.

After Montgomery’s death Terica and Norman made contact on the temporary phones. And soon after the death of Montgomery, after heading back to Memphis, Tennessee, Terica Ellis started depositing in multiple banks, more than $9,000. Those deposits were made in cash. Those deposits allegedly were payments for the murder of Montgomery. Allegedly about a week later, on March 21, 2016, Norman tried to cash in on a $450,000 life insurance policy for Montgomery’s death, in which Norman was the only beneficiary. That policy was previously taken out by Norman for his nephew, Andre Montgomery in 2014, in the amounts of $450,000.

James Timothy Norman, 41, of Jackson, Mississippi, is now being held at the Madison County Corrections in Madison County, Mississippi. He is being held on federal charges of conspiracy to use cellphone to plot a murder-for-hire, leading to the death of his nephew Andre Montgomery. Also, Terica Ellis was charged with conspiracy of the same crime.
