So, at the beginning of this episode, we were back under the Pavillion with the Highest chastising some. And praising others for their heroism, and loyalty to him. One person in particular, who was the mother of one of the children, started to protest against what was going on. Something, of course, under no circumstances does the Highest allow anyone to do. He then ordered Ruth to remove her from the others, until she calms down, or rather come to her senses again. Thus, Ruth had to slap her ass around to calm her down. At least for now.
After escorting her away, Ruth promised that she would get the kids away from Headmaster Obediah. But for now, she has to go along to get along. In fact, there were several others, including Peter and River, who could have easily been punished for abandoning the cult. River, of course, was out there trying to escape with Joan, Lacey and Zane. To which, he eventually had to head back to the compound, after literally tasting his first chance at freedom. As a result, I really think River had given up, even after he received a pep talk from Zane to keep hope alive.
While Peter, on the other hand, had tried to escape several times, once with River, who had refused to leave with Peter without the money. And then again, when Peter and Malcolm were able to escape from the trailer. Subsequently, we are now seeing Peter trying really hard to prove his loyalty and dedication to the Highest. Looking at him, even blaming River for tricking him, or putting “something” on him, to make him want to escape. With this in mind, both Peter and River, had explained away their disappearance, by telling Dikahn that they were just afraid and unsure of what to do during the attack.
By the way, has Lacey lost her doggone mind. LOL I mean, while all this was going on, she was over there giggling and snickering like she was witnessing the funniest shit ever. Sitting right next to her was Zane, who was looking at her, like bitch is you crazy. What the hell are you laughing at. LOL Incidentally, though, we all know what Lacey has been through over the past seasons, which is probably more than enough to drive anyone in her situation insane.
But back to the Headmaster Obediah, who I believe clearly knows that Ruth is not as loyal to the Raku as she tries to make others believe. And that’s exactly why he ran off snitching to the Highest about how Ruth had headed over to check out what the children were up to. However, the Highest has a lot of other things on his mind right now. Henceforth, Ruth, is like the least bit of his worries right now. His major concern, at this moment was getting Dikahn to give him another hit of that good stuff. That heroine, that is. To help keep him from flipping out on everyone under pressure, as he is well known for doing.
In addition to everything going on at the compound, Aaron’s wife had also been killed in the shootout. In light of hearing the awful news about his wife, he told Agent Desiree and Agent Kyle that he hopes that the both of them burns up in hell. Not totally disregarding Aaron’s feelings, they couldn’t really spend time dwelling on the fact that Aaron was outraged at the loss of his wife. Since they had bigger more important matters to deal with.
Matters like this new character Keys, who was captured by the FBI, after her cohorts were able to escape. Remember Keys, along with shooting Elder Muva in the hand, also shot one of the FBI agents. On account of that, Agent Kyle just wanted her charged for it, before being shipped off to D.C. Once that’s done Kyle would like to bring everyone in with the FBI. Multiple strike teams, air control, SWAT, basically anybody with a gun. LOL
Agent Desiree, however, has something else in mind. Seemingly, this is no longer a conflict between just Tyrone Luckett aka the Highest and the FBI. It was obvious to the Feds that there was now a third party involved. Consequently, Desiree wants Keys to help them identify her cohorts, as well as the other parties involved. Not only that. But she also suggested sending a negotiator up to the compound. Kyle was like are you crazy. When the last 3 agents that they had sent up there were tortured.
In the meantime, there were bodies all over the compound that Dikahn had ordered to be cleared out from the Highest. Aside from that, Lewis and George were being kept locked up inside of the punishment trailer. Killing them like the Highest has done in the past, was not an option, at this point. Since they needed as many men as they can get to fight with them for their cause. So, instead, the punishment for them was at first to be forced to listen to a chant being played over and over again to brainwash them into submission. Similar to what Headmaster Obediah was doing with the children.
Then the Highest thought it would be an even better idea to play Mozart really loud all over the compound. Thankfully Ruth, even though Lewis and George wanted to go upset her head at this moment, was able to convince the Highest otherwise. Ruth mentioned that after what everyone had just went through, maybe their people shouldn’t be listening to a song describing demons dragging them to hell.
After again, being able to sway the Highest, she took him to see all of the bodies lying around the compound. While showing him the people who had sacrificed their life for him, they were approached by a woman begging the Highest to heal her sister who was shot during the attack. She had seen the Highest heal people online before she and her sister joined the cult. Ruth, knowing that the Highest was full of shit, when comes to his healing hands, suggested that the Highest doesn’t have time to deal with that type of need right now. LOL In other words, this is not the time for the Highest to be scrutinized if the healing wasn’t successful. Despite her reasoning, the Highest, who was not trying to be told who he does or doesn’t have time for, scolded Ruth, for speaking up for him.
“And Ruth… Don’t ever come between me and my people again.”
Dikahn, when hearing what the Highest was planning to do, had to tell Ruth, that the Highest was under the influence of that smack that was all up in his arms. It didn’t matter though if he would have been able to heal the woman or not. Because before he could finish the ritual, helicopters could be heard in the distance. Meaning that they were possibly under attack again.
Evidently Kyle, wanting to ensure Desiree’s safety, ordered air support anyway, against Desiree’s wishes. So, of course, the Highest called for the kool-aid to be brought out. And they all needed to get prepared to get to the Raku. In otherwards, get ready to unalive themselves, Jim Jones style. Agent Desiree, pissed off, told Kyle that they might have just sentenced a bunch of children to death.
But what do you think Zane was up to. When Muva asked her what was she waiting for. Zane asked her, was everybody supposed to get a cup, including Lewis and George. Mother quickly responded, uhh they can burn in hell. This is for the children of the Raku only. And this gold cup is for the Highest. So, is the Kool-Aid, in fact, only for the children and the Highest. Was that the case. Only the death of the innocent can drink the Kool-Aid to end up on the other side with the Raku for eternity.
Ruth, fearing what would happen next, tried to get her daughter Callie’s attention. Callie, holding her cup of Kool-Aid right beneath her lips, must have looked at her mother, like Callie who. My name is Ruby.
Chiiiiile I can not wait to get into Episode 3. I know Tyler Perry ain’t about to allow those poor innocent brainwashed chil’ren to have their fate be determined by some red Kool-Aid. Yes I said the red Kool-Aid. LOL
